Joel Silver
ISF Founder and President

JJoel Silver is the President and founder of the Imaging Science Foundation, Inc., which was incorporated in 1994 to introduce video calibration methodology into consumer electronics.

He also runs the Imaging Science Research Lab which is Microsoft's certification lab for Media Center PC image quality.

He has been involved in and consulted for high-end video, high-end audio, telemedicine, medical management, Microsoft Media Center Edition PCs, real estate, automotive industries, and the Venture Capital and Entrepreneurship program at the W. Averill Harriman School of Management.

In the A/V industry, he has presented at CES, American Association of Medical Instrumentation, EHExpo, INFOCOMM, Nesda, NSCA, Microsoft's WINHEC, is a top five CEDIA speaker, and has been named one of CE PRO's top ten most influential industry leaders.

He has written articles for Audio Video Interiors, Millionaire Magazine, Opulence, Stereophile, Stereophile Ultimate A/V, Telemedicine Today, Video, and Widescreen Review

He consults for ATI, Barco, Bose, Da-Lite, Hitachi, Linn, Loewe, Microsoft, Minolta, Monster Cable, NVIDIA, Pioneer, Pixelworks, Runco, Sencore, Stewart, Texas Instruments, Toshiba, Yamaha, Zenith/LG, and numerous other clients.

Joel Silver is a co-inventor of the patented Microsoft Media Center Edition Calibration Wizard.
